The Konica Auto S1.6 is a 35mm camera. It was built after the Konica Auto S2 for a short time in the late 60s.
It is very similar to the S2, but much rarer. The S1.6 differs in its installed lens and weight, among other things.
The Konica Auto S1.6 comes with a 45mm Hexanon fixed focal length with a maximum aperture of f/1.6, and the lens’ seven lenses are arranged in 5 groups.
The solid and sturdily built camera has a rangefinder that helps with manual focusing. The Auto S1.6 also helps the photographer with exposure with its built-in light meter.
In terms of film, normal 35mm (eBay / Amazon*) are required. A thread for a tripod and a PC flash socket and hot shoe for an external flash are provided.
