The Hanimex 35D is a 35 mm camera. It belongs to the group of snapshot cameras. The housing of the camera is made of plastic. It is a very cheap model in terms of workmanship.
The lens of the camera cannot be exchanged. The focal length is unchangeable and has focal length of 38 mm. The largest aperture available is f/8. The focus of the lens cannot be changed.
The Hanimex 35D has no meter for the correct exposure. There is a built-in flash for shooting in low light conditions. It has no other adjustment options. This makes it simple to use.
The power supply comes from two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*).
Films for the Hanimex 35D
The Hanimex 35D is designed for the 35mm format. This type of film is still being produced and can be processed by most photo laboratories without any problems. For color shots there is the Fujifilm Superia 400*. One way to get black-and-white images is the AgfaPhoto APX 100*.
The color film is processed in the C-41 development process. C-41 films are developed by almost all photo laboratories.
The film is transported manually with a thumbwheel. At the back there is a window where you can see the currently inserted film.
The Hanimex 35D can only be found used. The value of a used model depends on the condition of the camera. However, a copy is not worth much.
