The Haking Compact-SC is a camera from Haking. It is a simple viewfinder camera. The 35mm camera was also available under the names Halina Micro 35, Ansco 2000 Micro, Miranda 35ME and Revue 35FC. The design is inspired by the Lomo LC-A / Cosina CX-2.
A fixed lens is built into the camera. The focal length of the lens is 38 mm. The maximum aperture is f/3.5 and the focus of the lens is fixed and cannot be changed. The close-up limit of the lens is 70 cm.
The 35 mm camera does not have an exposure meter. The camera simply selects a fixed aperture depending on the film speed. You can choose between ISO 100, ISO 200 and ISO 400 and the exposure time is fixed at 1/125 seconds. There is a built-in flash for taking pictures in insufficient light. The flash can be turned on and off and the only function for the camera needs power.
Films for the Haking Compact-SC
The Haking Compact-SC is an analogue camera and needs to be equipped with 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced today. They can be developed in most photo laboratories. A good choice for color and black-and-white pictures is the Fujifilm Superia 400* and the AgfaPhoto APX 100*.
The color negative film is developed in the C-41 development process. The C-41 process is standardized and is offered by most development laboratories.
The camera weighs 230 g and the dimensions are 11,1 x 6,9 x 4,9 cm. The power supply is provided by two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*).
The value of the Haking Compact-SC depends on the condition of the camera.
