The Halina Micro 35 is a viewfinder camera. The camera was produced by Haking, a Hong Kong company. The design and construction of the camera is reminiscent of the Lomo LC-A and its model of the Cosina CX-2, but the Halina is much more streamlined on functions than these two other snapshot cameras.

In addition to the Halina Micro 35, this model was also available as Haking Compact-SC, Miranda 35ME and Ansco 2000 Micro 35, and in the west of Germany the camera was sold as Revue 35FC by photo dealer “Foto Quelle”.

The lens of the Halina Micro 35 cannot be exchanged. 38 mm is the focal length of the lens. The camera’s largest aperture is f/3.5, but there is no way to change the focus. The minimum distance to the subject must be 70 cm.

The Halina Micro 35 does not have a meter for the correct exposure. The camera selects a fixed aperture depending on the sensitivity setting. The exposure time is fixed at 1/125 seconds. Films with a speed of ISO 100, ISO 200 or ISO 400 can be used.

There is a built-in flash for taking pictures in low light conditions. This has a range between 70 cm and 1.5 meters.

Films for the Halina Micro 35

The Halina Micro 35 exposes 35mm films. 35mm films are still easy to get today and are developed by most photo laboratories. For color shots there is the Agfaphoto Vista 400*. One way to get black-and-white images is the Kodak TRI-X 400*.

The color film is a negative film and is processed in the C-41 development process. C-41 films can be developed by most photo laboratories.

The dimensions of the camera body are 11,1 x 6,9 x 4,9 cm. It brings 230 grams on the scales. The power supply comes from two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*).

The 35mm camera is only available in used condition since the production was stopped. The value of a used copy depends mainly on the condition and if it works correctly.
