The Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 is an instant camera. It is manufactured by Fujifilm.
The Instax Mini 25 comes in different designs. Its body is made of plastic and rounded. Its dimensions are 112 x 121 x 50.5 mm. Without everything (film, battery, wrist strap) it weighs 275 grams.
Taking pictures is, as with all Instax cameras, quite simple. The camera chooses the exposure by itself, depending on the lighting conditions.
As a photographer, you can choose between three settings, automatic, fill flash (strobe) and landscape (mountain). With the first, the camera simply selects everything itself. With the second, it brightens the front area with the flash (useful for a dark subject against a bright background, for example). The third is for shooting landscapes.
The exposure can still be adjusted with the chiaroscuro slider. You can influence this with the chiaroscuro knob.
The camera focuses independently, here it has two options, Normal (0.5 m to 2.5 m) and Landscape (2.5 m to infinity). With a close-up lens, you can get as close as 35 cm to your subject. The Instax Mini 25 has a 60 mm lens, but you can’t zoom with it. Next to it is a small mirror, which is intended for self-portraits.
The Instax Mini format is designed for portrait photography, but it is also possible to take horizontal pictures (landscape format). For this, the Mini 25 has two extra shutter buttons to make it easier to shoot in both formats.
The camera is powered by two CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*). This also provides juice to the built-in intelligent flash.
The 25 is loaded with the Instax Mini Film*. This instant color film is still manufactured by Fuji. One image is about the size of a business card or credit card. If you see a yellow stripe through the small window on the back, you know there is film in the camera.
