The Fuji DL-7 is a viewfinder camera. It was produced by Fuji and presented in the 80s. It is a typical snapshot camera for that time, plastic housing and few adjustment possibilities. The Fuji DL-7 was available in an edition with Disney’s Mickey Mouse.
The Fuji DL-7 comes with a lens that cannot be changed. It has a focal length of 35 mm and has no possibility to change the focus. The minimum distance to the subject must be 1.2 m.
The 35 mm camera can be used with films with a sensitivity of ISO 100, ISO 200 or ISO 400. The range of the built-in flash differs depending on the sensitivity of the film. With ISO 100 it is 3 meters, with ISO 200 4 meters and with a ISO 400 film the flash can provide sufficient light up to 5 meters. It is powered by two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*).
Films for the Fuji DL-7
The Fuji DL-7 uses 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced today and are quite easy to get. For black-and-white 35mm shots, the Kodak T-Max 400* a good choice. For color images you can use the Kodak Ultramax 400*.
The DL in the name refers to the type of film loading (drop-in loading).
