The Fototreff 400 is a color negative film. It was sold under the private label by Fototreff, a German photo retailer, and manufactured by Ferrania. The cartridge contains the Ferrania Solaris FG.
The sensitivity of the film is specified as ISO 400. It is the basis for color pictures. Today, analog film should be overexposed. Since the film material loses sensitivity over time. The film is intended for pictures taken in daylight.
The development of the color film is done in the C-41 process. This development process is standardized. Development in a photo lab is therefore easily possible. The Fototreff 400 can therefore also be developed without problems at DM, Rossmann and Co.
The Fototreff 400 was available for the 35mm format. The production of the color negative film was discontinued. A possible alternative to the color film is the Kodak Ultramax 400*. This film for color images has a sensitivity of ISO 400 and is for 35mm cameras. The development is done in the C-41 process.
