Dubblefilm Stereo 400 is a color negative film. The film is distributed by Dubblefilm. However, the material is manufactured by Kodak. The cartridge contains the Kodak Ultramax 400.
The Stereo 400 was an effect film. The color negative film was pre-exposed to achieve a special effect. In this case with a color gradient from red to blue. The own pictures then white a corresponding color tint. How much it appears depends on the light, subject and exposure.
Developing the film
Once the film is exposed, it must be developed using the C-41 process. Development is offered by many photo labs around the world. The C-41 color negative process is standardized, so there is little to consider in this direction. Very easy is the development / delivery at the common drugstore chains. If desired, you can also get prints and scans of the images.
Formats
You can buy the Stereo 400 only for 35mm cameras. 36 photos with a size of 24 x 36 mm fit on one copy of the color film. The film speed is specified with ISO 400. This sensitivity allows a quite flexible use of the film. The 35 mm cartridge does not have DX encoding.
