Films for the Diana F+ Explorer Nocturnes

The Diana F+ Explorer Nocturnes was built for medium format. Contrary to popular belief, there are still companies that make films for this type of camera. The Kodak Portra 160* is a possible color film for the Lomography medium format camera. Black and white images are possible with the Ilford Delta 400*. Of course, there are other films that can be used with the camera. For example, there is also suitable film material from Foma or Rollei.

The medium format camera exposes the negatives in 6×6 format. At 6×6, one roll of film has enough space for twelve exposures.

If you want, you can also expose 35mm film or instant film with the camera. For this, there are special backs from Lomography that you can purchase additionally.

Value of the camera

The production of the medium format camera was discontinued. You can only find them used today. The prices for the Diana F+ Explorer Nocturnes differ depending on their condition. Of course, if it is still in its original packaging, the prices are the highest. Another factor for possibly high prices is the limited quantity of the camera.
