The Carena D35 is a snapshot camera. It was sold by Photo Porst in the 1990s. The same model was also offered under the name “Carena discovery 35”.
The camera lens cannot be changed. The focal length of the lens is 28 mm. The maximum aperture is f/6.7. There is no way to change the focus.
The camera has a built-in light meter. The Carena D35 has an automatic exposure mode. The photographer cannot choose the aperture and shutter speed. The built-in flash can be used for weak lighting situations.
Films for the Carena D35
The Carena D35 exposes cartridges with 35mm film. For this film format, there is still a good selection of material for color and black and white images. For black-and-white 35mm shots, the Kodak T-Max 400* a good choice. For color images you can use the Agfaphoto Vista 400*.
The color negative film is developed in the C-41 development process. This development process is offered by most laboratories.
The transport of the film works automatically.
The dimensions of the Carena D35 are 11 x 6 x 3 cm. It brings 135 g on the scales.
The Carena D35 is no longer in production. The price for a used copy of the depends on the condition and functionality.
