The Carena 35 E is a rangefinder camera. It was sold by Photo Porst, a German photo equipment store, and introduced in the 1980s.
The lens of the Carena 35 E is not interchangeable. The Carena 35 E does not provide autofocus system. Focusing is manual. The built-in rangefinder helps you to focus the lens.
The camera has a built-in light meter. The aperture and shutter speed can be set by the Carena 35 E automatically. An external flash can be connected via hot shoe. The 35mm camera comes with a thread for a tripod.
Films for the Carena 35 E
The Carena 35 E is an analogue camera and needs to be equipped with 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced by different producers. A good choice of film is the Kodak Ultramax 400* for color photographs and the Ilford XP2 Super* for black-and-white images.
The color negative film is developed in the C-41 development process. The C-41 process is offered by almost all photo labs.
