The Impossible Project films

The Impossible Project films are made in a former Polaroid factory in Eschede, Netherlands.

The Impossible Project is the world’s only manufacturer of instant film for Polaroid’s legacy cameras.
In an old Polaroid factory in Enschede, the Netherlands, they produce films for Polaroid 600, SX-70 and Spectra/Image.

The new instant film from Impossible differs from the old Polaroid films not only in terms of handling and manufacturing formula. They are still in development and are constantly being further developed. When taking photos with these films, you should take some time and do some reading beforehand. If you are looking for instant film for “taking photos”, you should choose Fuji Instax films.

After some time, the trademark rights for Polaroid were acquired by Impossible. For a short time the films were sold as “Polaroid Originals” films. The addition of “Originals” has now been dropped and you can buy them as Polaroid films.
