Polaroid

Polaroid has ceased production of instant film. The last film rolled off the production line at the factory in the Netherlands on June 17, 2008. The films that are still available have mostly expired, don’t always work, and are usually sold at overpriced prices.

Polaroid’s successor, The Impossible Project, makes new films for the old Polaroid cameras. In the meantime, these are again offered under the Polaroid brand.

For a short time, a camera and films from Fujifilm were also marketed under the “Polaroid” name.
