Werlisa Sport DXn 100

The Werlisa Sport DXn 100 is a color negative film. It was sold in Spain in the 1990s. It is a film that was sold under a trademark. The film stock was produced by another company.

Europe is indicated as the country of production on the packaging. Presumably, the film stock in the cartridge was produced by the Italian company Ferrania.

The photographic film can be used for classic color pictures. It was not necessarily aimed at professional photographers, but at everyday photographers. For the sensitivity of the film, the data sheet specifies an ISO value of 100. ISO 100 is good for taking everyday or vacation pictures.

Development of the film

Even today, you can still develop the Werlisa Sport DXn 100 if you can find a roll of the film.

The color film must be processed using the C-41 development process, which is offered by most photo labs. The development process follows a standardized protocol and can also be done by yourself following instructions, if you have the right chemistry and desire to do so. The result of the development process is film strips with the captured images.

After the film is developed, it is common to either make prints or perform digitization. In addition to development, most photo labs also offer the creation of prints in various sizes.

Digitizing the negatives

In order to be able to digitally process the images from the film strips, it is recommended to digitize them with a scanner. The digitization of negatives is often offered by photo labs, but also a scanner for home use can be used. By digitizing the files, they can either be further processed in digital form or used in printed form.

Availability and alternatives

Inside the yellow and blue cardboard box, you will find a roll of film. The Werlisa Sport DXn 100 is designed for 35mm cameras. Depending on the version, 36 or 24 images fit on one roll.

The Werlisa Sport DXn 100 is no longer in production and is therefore no longer available new. The Kodak Ektar 100* could be a replacement for 35mm film.
