The Revueflex Reflex BL is a SLR camera. It was presented by Foto Quelle in the 1970s and sold in West Germany. The VEB Pentacon produced the camera for the shipping giant in the GDR. The model is part of the Praktica LB family.
The lenses of the Revueflex Reflex BL are interchangeable. For this purpose, an M42 thread was used. The M42 thread is a common lens mount. The Revueflex Reflex BL has no autofocus. It is manually focused.
An exposure meter was installed in the Revueflex Reflex BL. The exposure time and aperture can be freely selected. Bulb mode is available for long exposures. An external flash can be ignited via the built-in hot shoe.
Films for the Revueflex Reflex BL
The Revueflex Reflex BL uses 35mm film. The 35mm format is very common, which is why there are still some manufacturers and many development laboratories. Nice films for black-and-white or color images are the Ilford FP4 Plus* and the Agfaphoto Vista 200*.
The colour film is a colour negative film and must be developed in the C-41 process. This development process is offered by most laboratories.
The 35mm camera comes with a thread for a tripod on the bottom. It is also possible to use a cable release.
The camera is no longer manufactured. The value of a used Revueflex Reflex BL is primarily determined by the condition and functionality.
