The Polaroid I-Zone Digital Combo is an instant camera from the 00s. It is basically the Polaroid I-Zone, but a digital camera was added to the camera.
The analog part comes with a fixed focal length, fixed focus and unchanged exposure time. Only the aperture can be adjusted depending on the weather. There is also a built-in flash. It can expose 24 x 36 mm images. Integral films for this format are unfortunately no longer produced and there is no possibility to use other films.
The technical specifications of the digital part of the Polaroid I-Zone Digital Combo are of course laughable from today’s point of view. The built-in CMOS sensor delivers a resolution of 640 x 480 with 24-bit colors. You can’t go overboard with taking pictures, as with the instant part, the memory has a size of 1 MB and can store a maximum of 18 pictures. Exposure is set automatically and there is also a built-in flash.
Today’s equivalent of the I-Zone Digital Combo is probably the Fujfilm Instax Square SQ10. Of course, it’s more the concept and less the specs that can be compared.
