The Olympus Zuiko Auto-T 100mm f/2 is a lens from the Olympus brand. It was developed by the Japanese Toshihiro Imai and Yoshiaki Horikawa. It was built in a factory in Japan in the 80s.
The lens has a focal length of 100 mm. Therefore it can be counted to the group of telephoto lenses. The diagonal angle of view is 24°. The lens has a maximum aperture of f/2. f/22 is the smallest available aperture. The focus adjustment of the lens has to be done manually by hand. For sharp photos, you have to keep at least a distance of 70 cm from the subject.
The lens has an Olympus OM mount. It can be used on the models of the OM series. It can also be used on other SLR cameras. For this, a separate adapter for the corresponding lens mount is needed.
The design of the Olympus Zuiko Auto-T 100mm f/2 consists of seven elements in six groups. A 55 mm filter lens, e.g. an ND filter, can be attached in front of the lens. An earlier version needs filters with a diameter of 49 mm. The overall length is given as 7.2 cm. 520 grams is the weight.
