New products from Adox for Photokina 2012

For Photokina 2012, Adox will introduce four new products

After the bad news recently, there is also good news from the world of analog photography. Adox has announced that it will introduce several new products at Photokina 2012.

The company from Bad Saarow near Berlin will present three films and a developer at the photo fair in Cologne. The ADOX PAN-X 100 Reverso is a film for the Super 8 format. One cassette contains 15 meters of reversal film for about 3 minutes and 20 seconds of filming fun.

The second film, the Color Implosion, is a manipulated ISO 100 color negative film for the 35mm format. The film is advertised with impressive colors, strong red tones, and an extra coarse grain. Whether it goes in the direction of the Revolog films will only become clear when it is officially introduced.

The third new film is the Adox Silvermax. As the name suggests, it has a significantly increased silver content compared to other black and white films. According to the manufacturer, the Silvermax has a high density and can achieve a copying range of up to 14 stops in the developer specially made for it.

The black and white film manufactured by Adox in Germany is also said to have very high sharpness, extremely fine grain, and great detail contrast, and can also be developed as a reversal film. However, the Silvermax will only be available for 35mm cameras.
