The Impossible Project has introduced revised versions of their films in a "Cool Edition". The silver packaging contains the latest versions of instant films from the factory in Enschede, Netherlands.
From now on, Impossible plans to introduce their newest instant films for old Polaroid cameras every spring and fall.
The Cool Line leads the way and brings all Impossible instant films up to date.
These films are based on the latest formulas and research from the Polaroid successors.
One pack contains 8 images and costs around 20 euros. The packaging is completely redesigned, in silver with the inscription "Keep Me Cool". For best results, the films should be stored at 5 to 10°C. They must not be frozen.
They are available in the online shop of The Impossible Project. Of course, they are also available in the Impossible Project Spaces New York City, Vienna and Tokyo, and in all Impossible Partner Stores (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich, etc.).
The PX films for Polaroid 600 and SX-70 cameras, PX 680 Color Shade Cool, PX 600 Silver Shade Cool, PX 70 Color Shade and PX 100 Silver Shade Cool, are available now, the PZ versions will be available from April 26, 2012.

NEW YORK April 19, 2012 - Impossible presents the inaugural launch of the new Impossible COOL film line.
New Impossible films will now be released bi-annually each year in Spring and Fall.
The Spring 2012 COOL line features all Impossible Color and Silver Shade film materials in their newest incarnations based on the latest findings and achievements in instant film development.
The colors of this season are based on warm tones creating dreamy images, with Color Shade films producing true colors and Silver Shade films delivering classic black & white images.
The COOL films introduce a new level and improved flavor of analog instant photography.
Photographers shooting the Impossible COOL film materials will experience a faster image development, more consistent image results as well as greatly reduced artifacts and irregularities.
Just like fine wine COOL films can be stored and enjoyed at every kind of temperature.
For optimized consumption it proves beneficial to store COOL films in the fridge around 5-10°C /41-50°F.
This guarantees and extends optimized performance and will help maintain the film's quality.
The COOL film line presents PX 70 Color Shade and PX 100 Silver Shade for Polaroid SX-70 camera models, PX 680 Color Shade and PX 600 Silver Shade for Polaroid 600 cameras.
For Image, Spectra and 1200 Polaroid cameras PZ 680 Color Shade and PZ 600 Silver Shade films will become available April 26.
