The Mitsubishi Super MX100 (MX 100) is a color negative film. It is distributed by a Mitsubishi Group company, Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited. As the name suggests, Paper Mills Ltd. mainly manufactures papers and the like. However, the 35mm film is probably manufactured by Fujifilm.
In Germany, this film is not very common. The easiest way to get it is from foreign dealers, for example from Asian dealers on eBay.
The results are comparable to those of a film from the drugstore. Because of the not very high sensitivity, the color film should be used outdoors. Best on sunny days with a lot of light.
It is developed normally in the C-41 process and is only available as 35mm film. Mitsubishi also offers a version with ISO 200 for 35mm cameras in addition to the 100 film.
Sample photos
All shots were taken with the Nikon EM, developed normally in C-41 and the negative was scanned with a Canon (eBay / Amazon*) Canoscan 9000F flatbed scanner.
