The Marix Color 100D is a color negative film. The film material is commercially available under the Marix brand. The brand belongs to the Cloudoc company from Japan. Kodak as a company is responsible for manufacturing.

The special thing about the Marix Color Movie NegaFilm 100D is its origins: It is based on the Kodak Vision3, a popular film that is known for its excellent color reproduction and its characteristic look.

This film has been modified through a carbon removal process to be compatible with the widely used C-41 development process. This allows photographers to use the unique visual language of cinema without having to rely on specialized laboratories.

A special feature is that the DX code is not supported, so the ISO setting must be made manually on the camera.
