The Lomo’Instant Gongkan is a special edition of the Lomo’Instant. It was presented to the public in October 2021.
The edition is a result of collaboration with Thai pop art artist Gongkan. The body of the instant camera is in white. Printed on it are round black shapes. People emerge from some of these shapes.
Included with this edition is the camera, lens cap, colorful color filters and instructions. Additionally, three lens attachments, Fisheye, Portrait and Close-Up, are included.
The included lens attachments significantly expand the camera’s photographic possibilities. The Fisheye attachment, for example, allows you to capture ultra-wide panoramic shots with a special fisheye effect.
The Portrait attachment lets you capture people and faces in detail and blur them with a softer background. The Close-Up attachment, on the other hand, allows you to photograph small objects up close to capture even the smallest details in sharp focus.
The range of functions of the instant camera is congruent with the other editions. Thus, it is equipped with interchangeable lenses (included depending on the package), offers the possibility of multiple exposures and has a Bulb mode. There is a mirror on the front for selfies. A flash is also built in.
The camera and flash are powered by four AAA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). You will also need an instant film. The Instax Mini instant films from Fujifilm are used, these are not included. The color film for this format is the Instax Mini Film*. One film cassette is enough for ten pictures. One image is about the size of a credit card. With the Instax Mini Monochrome* there is also a black and white film for monochrome pictures with the instant camera from Lomography.
