Lomography Color Negative F²/400

The Lomography Color Negative F²/400 is a color negative film. It was introduced by Lomography at the beginning of 2017. The edition of the film is limited, as the material used for the film was one of the last master rolls from Ferrania. The color film was produced by Ferrania in Italy and then warehoused by Lomography. Many years after Ferrania went bankrupt, it was then sold on the open market by Lomography.

Due to the aging process, the color film features crisp colors and an X-Pro look familiar from slide film developed in C-41.

The Lomography Color Negative F²/400 is developed normally in the C-41 process. The standardized development process is offered by most labs. Developing at DM-Markt or Rossmann is therefore possible and very easy, because you only have to hand in the film at one of the stores. Of course, it is also possible to develop at home with the appropriate chemistry.

The F²/400 was only produced in 35mm format. It can be used universally and holds thirty-six images.

As an alternative, you can reach for the regular Lomography Color Negative 400.

Update (June 2018)

In the summer of 2018, a medium format version of the film was introduced. However, it was only offered in a limited edition. The price for a roll of the 120 film was around 9 euros.

Lomography Color Negative Film F²/400 Watermark

The Lomography Color Negative Film F²/400 Watermark is a version of the film. The peculiarity of this version is that on some images pink stripes appear. These stripes appear randomly and not always, probably it is a defect in the production.

It was sold in the online store of Lomography for 3,90 Euro per roll. One roll of film is enough for 36 pictures and can be used in all 35mm cameras.
