Tamara started analog photography at 15 because there were no digital cameras at that time, and she missed the Polaroid SX-70 film, which she believes was the best film of all time.
Who are you?
Well, I am Tamara Skudies and I come from Landshut. At the moment, I mainly photograph nature and my city Landshut. But I want to do more portraits this year.
How did you get into analog photography?
Well, I am sooo old, when I started photography, there were no digital cameras ;) So I started at 15 with a Revue AC4. I switched to digital photography and after 3-4 years came back to analog.
Do you have a favorite camera?
That's a very difficult question for me. Deep in my heart sits my Polaroid SX70. The SX70 film at that time was, for me personally, the most beautiful film of all time. My current companion is the LC-Wide, which I always have with me.
Do you have a favorite film?
Mhh... well ;) the Kodak Ektar is a wonderful film. For cross-processing, I love the Agfa CT Precisa. Currently, I am testing the DM Paradies 400 as Redscale, which I will use more often now.
What would you photograph if you only had one roll of film left?
Myself.. haha no, of course not! I don't want to think about having only one film left, so I'll just skip this answer.
