Fujifilm Slim 1000

The Fujifilm Slim 1000 disposable camera was produced by Fujifilm. It was sold in the mid-2000s. It is no longer in production.

Unlike other cameras, it is not possible to change the lens on this model. With a focal length of 24 mm, the largest aperture opening is f/10.

The focus of the lens cannot be changed. For sharp image quality, you should maintain a minimum distance of 100 cm from the subject with this lens.

For shooting in low light conditions, there is a built-in flash. The range is 1 to 6 meters. The flash can be switched on and off using a switch on the front.

The camera was offered in various designs. For example, there was also a Winnie-the-Pooh version.

Film for the Fujifilm Slim 1000

The film is already loaded in a disposable camera. In this case, it is Fujifilm Fujicolor 1000. This film was specially developed for disposable cameras and was not offered separately.

It is a color film. The number of pictures depends on the model. There were versions with 15, 25, or 40 pictures.

If you get your hands on a model today, you can theoretically still use it. However, the later image quality will very likely not match the quality of that time. It is also possible that the battery for the flash has already given up.

When the film is full, the camera or film must be developed. It is important that the photo lab also offers development of the APS format. This is usually more expensive than for 35mm film.

The film can be removed from the camera before development. In most cases, however, you can also hand over the entire camera to the photo lab.
