Fisheye Baby 110

The Fisheye Baby 110 is a pocket film camera from Lomography. It was presented shortly after the revival of the pocket film format June 2012. The design and most of the features were taken from its predecessor, the Fisheye No. 2 35mm camera.

The small camera is equipped with a very wide-angle lens, this creates the well-known fisheye effect. With this lens, it captures a 170° angle of view on the small film format. The focus cannot be changed and the aperture is fixed at f/8. However, the fisheye lens makes it possible to take very good close-ups.

The Fisheye Baby 110 has two exposure times, “N” for daylight and “B” for long exposure. Except for the exposure time settings, there are no adjustment options on the point-and-shoot camera. Multiple exposures are no problem with the small camera by pressing the shutter button several times.

The viewfinder is fixed and cannot be removed. It does not have a hot shoe to connect a flash, like its big sister. With the basic version of the Fisheye Baby 110, a flash can only be used by firing it manually in Bulb mode. However, the slightly more expensive Metal version has a port for a PC flash cable with which normal flashes can be used.

Biggest advantage, of the Fisheye Baby compared to the 35mm version is, surely the size, with film back it is just 80 (W) x 73 (H) x 51 (D) mm. The normal version of the Fisheye Baby 110 has a classic black and white design. However, there are other versions of the small fisheye camera in other designs.

For example, the Orca black and white film or the Tiger color film from Lomography can be used as film for the small camera.
