The Silberra U200 is a black and white film. The film comes from the Russian supplier Silberra from Saint Petersburg. It was introduced in 2018.
With the Silberra U200 you can take black and white pictures. The sensitization of the film is superpanchromatic. It is specified that the film has a sensitivity of ISO 200 in the datasheet. It can also be pushed to ISO 400. Additionally, if the development is adjusted, it can be exposed to ISO 100.
Developing the film
There is no standardized development process for the U200, compared to C-41 films. Processing in a variety of black-and-white developers is possible. Laboratory service providers usually offer black and white film development, but this can also be done at home. The use of different developing chemicals can have significant effects on the appearance of the finished images, as each has individual advantages and disadvantages.

The U200 is available for 35mm format only. 36 images fit on a roll of film. Among the manufacturers that offer / have offered suitable photo cameras for the 35mm format are Porst, Lomography and Zenit.
An alternative for the film can be the Ilford Delta 400*.
