The Fujifilm Superia 200 is a color negative film. It is a solid film for everyday use.

The Superia 200 delivers very strong colors without being overbearing. The grain is also decent in the background and of a good sharpness. In any case, this film is very suitable as an everyday film. Especially in an analog SLR, you can have a lot of fun with it.

The Superia series was introduced by Fujifilm in 2005. For low-light shooting, it makes more sense to use a film with higher sensitivity, such as the Superia 800 or 1600.

For long exposures (black screen effect), keep in mind that from 1/4000 to 2 sec, you don't have to adjust the exposure. At 4 sec you have to add 1/3 aperture, at 16 sec you have to increase the exposure by 2/3 aperture. 1 aperture needs to be added at 64 sec according to Fuji.

The Superia 200 is now only available as 35mm film. However, a 110 variant once existed.

Update

In the meantime, production of the film has been discontinued. As an alternative, you can reach for the Kodak Gold 200*.
