The Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros II is a black and white film. In 2018, the Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros was discontinued. The end of production was justified by the lack of some raw materials. Then, in the summer of 2019, a successor, the Neopan ACROS 100 II, was announced. It will continue to be produced by Fujifilm in Ashigara, Japan. However, parts of the production process have been outsourced to Harman Technology (Ilford) in the UK.

The successor's formula has been revised, but is said to deliver comparable results to the old film. It is orthopanchromatically sensitized. Fujifilm's "Super Fine Sigma Technology" means it delivers very fine grain. The RMS value is 7. According to marketing, the black-and-white film additionally offers excellent sharpness, rich gradation, wide exposure latitude, and excellent reciprocity characteristics.

Film speed is ISO 100, according to the manufacturer, but it can also be pushed to ISO 200 and pulled to ISO 80, according to the instructions.

Development of the film

The Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros II is developed in a black-and-white developer. Black and white development can be done at home with the right equipment and chemistry. However, it is also possible to take the film to a professional developing lab.
