The Edixa 135 AF Total Automation is a handy camera model from Haking, manufactured in Hong Kong. It is similar to the Haking MW 35AF and the Edixa 135 AF in terms of functionality, but differs slightly in the design of the housing.

It comes with a fixed lens that has a focal length of 38mm and a maximum aperture of f/3.8.

Thanks to integrated technology and sensors, the focus adjusts independently. You should make sure to keep a distance of at least 100 cm from the subject. A manual adjustment of the focus is not provided.

The light meter included in the Edixa 135 AF Total Automation ensures optimal exposure. The film sensitivity can be set on the lens. The camera takes care of the automatic exposure control, adjusting the time and aperture, with only the aperture variant being flexible. The shutter speed is fixed at 1/125 second.

An internal flash supports in suboptimal lighting conditions. In addition, the Edixa 135 AF Total Automation has a connection option for cable release and tripod. A shoulder strap can also be easily attached.

It uses two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*) as its energy source. Whether standard or rechargeable – both variants are compatible and ensure continuous operation.

Film options for the Edixa 135 AF Total Automation

Without the use of 35mm film, the Edixa 135 AF Total Automation remains silent. She prefers to take 35mm films, which are developed in professional laboratories.

Top 35mm film recommendations include Kodak Ultramax 400* and Kodak T-MAX 400*, which consistently deliver excellent images. Other providers such as Lomography, Rollei, Ilford, Fujifilm and Adox are in no way inferior to them.

The exposure format measures 24 mm x 36 mm. A standard film (135-36) typically houses 36 photos. A motor takes care of the automatic film transport after each shot and when turning back.

On the top of the camera there is an indicator for the correct transport of the film and the number of shots already taken.
