The Carena King is a camera for children. The housing is made of plastic and the range of functions is also rather limited. The camera was built in China and sold together with a picture book by Photo Porst in Germany.
The camera comes with a fixed lens. You don’t have to focus the lens, because it is fixed. Adjustment options, such as aperture and exposure time, are not available. The camera does not have a built-in light meter. However, there is a built-in flash.
The dimensions of the Carena King are 12 x 7 x 4.5 cm. At the same time, it weighs 160 grams.
Films for the Carena King
The Carena King needs photographic films to take photos. More precisely, 35mm films are needed. 35mm films are still made today and are quite easy to get. A color film for the 35mm camera would be the Kodak Gold 200*. A possible film for black and white images is the Ilford HP5*.
