The Canon Prima Shot is a 35mm camera. It was built by Canon in the 1980s and was aimed at consumers. It was available in Japan under the name Autoboy Prisma and in America as Sure Shot ACE.
With the Canon Prima Shot, the photographer doesn’t have much to do, the shutter speed and aperture are set and the film is also transported on.
The Prima Shot comes with two viewfinders, one normal and one on the top of the camera that you look through from above, like a Lubitel. It was also the first camera with a receiver for a radio shutter release. It also has a self-timer.
