The Yashica Microtec Zoom 70 is a compact camera for 35mm film.
As the name suggests, it comes with a zoomable lens. The focal length range goes from 35 to 70 mm. The closest focusing distance is 60 cm. Focusing is, of course, by autofocus and not manual. Film transport is also motorized.
The film speed is detected by the Yashica Microtec Zoom 70 through the DX system (ISO 50 to ISO 3200). Other functions include the flash and the self-timer.
Power is supplied to the Microtec Zoom 70 by a CR123A battery (eBay / Amazon*). For nice snapshots with the photo camera, you can reach for the Kodak Gold 200*.
