The Yashica Electro 35 is a rangefinder camera. It was built by the traditional Japanese company Yashica from 1966 to 1968. It is the predecessor of the Yashica Electro 35 G.

The camera comes with a fixed lens. It is labeled "Yashinon-DX 1:1.7 f = 45 mm." The focal length is 45 mm and the maximum aperture is f/1.7. There is no autofocus function on this model. Films for the Yashica Electro 35

The Yashica Electro 35 is designed for 35mm format. This type of film is still in production and can be handled by most photo labs without any problems. One option for color images is the Kodak Gold 200* and the Ilford HP5* for black and white photos. Both films are wonderful for taking souvenir photos with a still camera.

The color film is designed to be developed using the C-41 process. The C-41 process is offered by almost every photo lab.

The Yashica Electro 35 negatives have a size of 24 mm × 36 mm. With the mentioned films, so 36 pictures fit on one roll of film. The film must be rewound manually by the photographer.

A tripod can be connected to the bottom. A cable release can also be used with the camera. In addition, the self-timer can be used for taking pictures.
