The Revue 35FC is a viewfinder camera. The 35mm camera was built by Haking in Asia and sold in Germany by Foto Quelle, a German photo mail order company. It is identical with the Haking Compact-SC and was also sold as Halina Micro 35, Miranda 35ME and Ansco 2000 Micro 35. It was sold in at least four different color schemes.

The lens of the Revue 35FC cannot be replaced. 38 mm is the focal length of the lens. The maximum aperture is f/3.5 and the distance setting of the lens cannot be changed. The close-up limit is 70 cm.

The Revue 35FC has no built-in light meter. When setting the film speed (ISO 100, ISO 200 or ISO 400), the camera simply selects a fixed aperture. The exposure time is fixed at 1/125 second.

A built-in flash is available for taking pictures in insufficient light. This cannot be switched on or off and is the only function of the camera that requires power. The readiness of the flash is indicated by two LEDs on the back. The camera does not have a tripod thread.

By operating the film advance lever, the lens guard is pushed up. This works even if the film has already been transported to the next frame. The camera is closed simply by pressing it down. The back wall, for loading the film, is opened by pulling out the spool on the upper left side of the camera.

Films for the Revue 35FC

Photographic films are required for the Revue 35FC. Films for the 35mm format are used. 35mm films are still offered by various manufacturers. Beautiful 35mm films for color or black-and-white images are the Agfaphoto Vista 400* and the AgfaPhoto APX 100*.

The color film is being developed in the C-41 process. The C-41 process is standardized and is offered by most development laboratories.

Measuring 11.1 x 6.9 x 4.9 cm, the Revue 35FC weighs 230 g. The power required for the camera comes from two AAA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). A film loop or camera strap can be attached to the camera. The connection is located, somewhat unusually, on the left side.

The production of the Revue 35FC was finished and today you can only buy it used. The used price of a used copy depends on its condition and functionality. The value is thus in the range of 10 to 20 euros.
