The Polaroid Spectra 2 is an instant camera from Polaroid. It is designed for the ImageSpectra format and is similar to the original Spectra. Internationally, it was sold under the name "Polaroid Image 2".
The feature set of the Polaroid Spectra 2 is similar to the Spectra camera, but it lacks many settings and the self-timer.
The Polaroid Spectra 2 comes with a fixed focal length with autofocus. The instant camera automatically adjusts the exposure. The light/dark control on the back of the camera, which is made of plastic, is the only adjustment option for the photographer.
In low light conditions, the built-in flash activates and provides sufficient light. There is an adjustable hand strap on the left side of the camera. The shutter button is located at the back of the top.
The appropriate films for the Polaroid Spectra 2 are the Polaroid Originals Color Film for Image & Spectra* and the Polaroid Originals B&W Film for Image & Spectra*. Both films are being restored by Impossible today and include an eight frame cassette. The batteries are inside the film cassette and power the camera and flash.
