The Polaroid Spectra 1200i is an instant camera. The camera for the Spectra format was introduced in the early 2000s. It is a stripped down version of the Polaroid Spectra 1200si.
The camera comes with a 125 mm Quintic lens. The lens consists of three elements and has a close focus distance of 60 cm. Focusing is automatic with the help of ultrasound (Polaroid Sonar AF System).
Exposure time and aperture are set by the camera itself. However, the exposure can be influenced with the light/dark control on the back. In low light, the built-in flash brings light into the dark.
The Polaroid Spectra 1200i has a hand strap and a thread for a tripod.
The camera was designed to take 1200 film at 12 frames per pack and Spectra / Image 990 film at 10 frames per pack. Films for the Spectra 1200i will be produced again after Polaroid stops production.
Impossible offers two matching instant films in the form of the Polaroid Originals Color Film for Image & Spectra* and the Polaroid Originals B&W Film for Image & Spectra*. They also include the battery for the camera and flash. One pack contains eight shots.
