The Pentax 645N II is a medium format camera. The autofocus camera is the successor of the 645N and was introduced in the early 2000s.

Films for the Pentax 645N II

The Pentax 645N II is loaded with medium format film. Both 120 and 220 roll films can be used. There is a matching film insert for both 120 and 220. The negatives from a 645N II have a size of 41.5 x 56 mm. Up to 16 images fit on a roll of 120, and up to 33 images on a roll of 220.

All important sensitivities are supported by the exposure meter. Therefore, you can draw from the full range of film choices. A good figure make in the camera about the Ilford HP5 Plus black and white film, the Kodak Portra 400 color negative film or the Fujifilm Velvia 50 slide film.

Power for the Pentax 645N II comes from six AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). These are placed in the camera's handle and, according to Pentax, should be sufficient for over 100 rolls of film.
