The Lomo LC-Wide 30th Anniversary Edition is a special edition. It was introduced on the occasion of Lomography's 30th anniversary in 2022. The year 1992 is considered the start year of the Lomography movement.

The model comes with an anniversary emblem on the back and is wrapped in black leather. In addition to this model, a birthday edition of the LC-A+ and LC-A 120 was also introduced.

The lens of the 35mm photo camera cannot be replaced. The lens is named "Minigon 1." The focal length is 17 mm. The largest aperture is f/4.5. The lens has to be focused by hand. The 35mm camera does not have an autofocus function. The closest focusing distance of this lens is 40 cm.

For shooting, the Lomo LC-Wide 30th Anniversary Edition has a light meter. It can be used with films with a sensitivity of ISO 100 to ISO 1600. The 35mm camera has automatic exposure and sets aperture and shutter speed automatically.

An external flash can be connected to the hot shoe. The photo camera has a connection for a cable release. There is also a thread on the bottom of the camera for a tripod.

The camera requires three LR44 batteries (eBay / Amazon*). These batteries can be found very easily online. They are only needed for the light meter, so they last for a very long time. Without batteries, the camera will work in principle, but not the light meter.

Films for the Lomo LC-Wide 30th Anniversary Edition

35mm film is exposed in the Lomo LC-Wide 30th Anniversary Edition. Films of this format are still readily available today and are still being developed. Available photo films for the Lomo LC-Wide 30th Anniversary Edition, which are straightforward to get from online retailers, are the Ilford XP2 Super* for enchanting black and white images and the Kodak Ultramax 400* for brilliant color images. Adox, Foma, Rollei and co. also offer films for this format, of course.

The development of the color negative film is done in the C-41 development process. The C-41 process is performed by almost all photo labs. For example, you can take your films to most drugstores for development.
