Kono

KONO! is a film company specializing in the production of experimental film material for analog photographers. It was founded in 2014 by a team with more than 25 years of experience in the analog film industry.

Prior to founding KONO! team members had contributed to the world of analog film by providing color correction and post-production supervision for major feature films. They also spearheaded the revival of the 110 film format and developed Lomochrome Purple when they served as heads of the Lomographic Society’s film department.

Drawing on their extensive expertise in the field, the team formed KONO! with the goal of bringing something special to the analog photography community. Their goal was to produce experimental, playful film materials that would expand the possibilities of analog photography.

KONO! has produced over 30 unique film products since its inception, each with its own exclusive features and effects. These films have gained a loyal following among analog photographers, and KONO! products are now available on 5 continents and in 28 countries.

KONO! distinguishes itself from other film manufacturers through its commitment to experimentation and innovation. The company is constantly exploring new approaches to develop unique and intriguing film materials, and its commitment to the analog photography community is evident in its approach to product development and customer service.

KONO! is a respected brand in the analog photography space, and its commitment to innovation and experimentation is expected to keep it relevant in the industry for years to come.
