Camera functions
The Polaroid Now is a modern instant camera that combines the classic Polaroid experience with contemporary technology. It features dual-lens autofocus optimized for both close-up and standard shots. For sharp images, a minimum distance of 55 cm makes sense.
The camera offers easy operation so that both beginners and experienced photographers can easily create stunning instant photos. An integrated flash ensures well-lit photos even in poor lighting conditions.
The Polaroid Now has a battery that can be charged via micro USB, making it a more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable batteries like the old Polaroid cameras.
The camera also offers a self-timer that enables creative group shots and self-portraits. Another highlight is the ability to create double exposures to create artistic and unique images.
Films for the instant camera
The Polaroid Now is compatible with the i-Type films as well as the classic 600 films from Polaroid.
Designed specifically for modern Polaroid cameras, i-Type films are available in a variety of formats and styles, including color, black and white and special editions. The current color film is Polaroid Color Film for i-Type*.
The 600 films are the original Polaroid films, known for their nostalgic look and distinctive image aesthetics. They contain a disposable battery, which is necessary for the old cameras.
Both types of film offer a unique way to capture memories instantly and create physical photos that have a special charm and value.
Differences to the Polaroid Now+
The Polaroid Now+ is an expanded version of the 2021 Polaroid Now. It offers some additional features for creative photographers. It has a Bluetooth connection that allows the camera to be connected to the Polaroid app.
Various shooting modes such as double exposure, light painting and manual mode can be controlled via the app. The Polaroid Now+ also offers the option of editing images directly in the camera using filters and other creative tools.
