The Kodak Farbwelt 200 is a color negative film aimed particularly at amateur photographers. It was originally offered exclusively as 35mm film to meet the needs of amateur photographers.
Development and characteristics

The Farbwelt series was offered primarily in Germany. It is believed that this film is a variant of Kodak Gold 200, which has a slightly adjusted color reproduction. However, the Farbwelt series has since been withdrawn from the market and replaced by the Kodak Gold 200.
In addition to the Farbwelt 200 and 400, there was also once the Kodak Farbwelt 100 and the Kodak Farbwelt 800. In 2007, Kodak announced that they had improved the 100 and 200 so that they would provide even more vibrant colors.

Despite the discontinuation of Kodak’s Farbwelt series, there are still alternatives for lovers of color negative film in 35mm format. One such alternative is Kodak Gold 200*, which is also available in 35mm format and has a sensitivity of ISO 200. This film offers similar color characteristics and is a good choice for a variety of lighting conditions.
Other alternatives include film from other manufacturers such as Fujifilm or Lomography, which also offer color negative film in a variety of sensitivities and formats.
