The Kodak Instamatic 56X is a 126 camera. It is part of the Instamatic model series and the successor of the 55X. The plastic camera was manufactured by Kodak and others in the UK over a period of 5 years (1972 - 1977).
The features of the camera, as you would expect from the Instamatic cameras, are modest. It comes with a fixed focus 43 mm lens with an f/11 aperture. For 1/50 second, light can fall through it onto the film. A Magicubes flash can be placed on the camera.
The Kodak Instamatic 56X is loaded with type 126 film, but today these cassette films are no longer made.
Kodak Instamatic 66X
It is identical to the 56X. However, the design of the "premium" camera is in two shades of brown.
