Once the images are in the box, the question of presenting the pictures arises.
For showing images, I prefer the book form. I probably don't need to list the advantages over loose prints. However, printed books have the disadvantage of not being changeable. A big minus point if you want to use them as a portfolio.
The Easy Books from the company Fotospeed aim to be a solution. The hard cover folders are available in various sizes and feature a clamp binding. For these photo folders, you don't need sleeves or glue. The images are positioned in the clamp binding by folding the cover backwards. This allows you to change the order at any time and add new images.
The big advantage of the Fotospeed Easy Books, in my experience, is really the simplicity. Within minutes, you can change the composition without any tools. Another advantage is the unobstructed view of the paper's texture. The disadvantage, of course, is that the images are unprotected and thus wear out more quickly.
The Easy Books are available in various sizes. Currently, the following formats are available: A3 (landscape), A4 (portrait and landscape), 12 x 12 inches, 12 x 8 inches, 8 x 8 inches, 10 x 8 inches, 8 x 6 inches, 5 x 7 inches, and 6 x 4 inches. Some models have a window on the front. Prices range between 7 and 25 euros.
Currently, the Fotospeed Easybooks are available in black (fabric & leather) and taupe (fabric). Personally, I would like other colors. The black fabric surface looks elegant, but it is also very susceptible to dirt and dust. It's practical that you don't need additional sleeves. Decent sleeves often cost a lot of money and you lose the feel for the paper. The ability to quickly change the order of the images is very pleasant.
