The Kickstarter campaign for the Petzval lens ended successfully today
The Lomography Petzval lens was successfully funded with $1,136,149.
After one month, the Kickstarter project for the Lomography Petzval lens ended today. A total of $1,136,149 was raised, equivalent to about 850,000 euros. The initial goal was only $100,000, which was reached in no time.
Each backer also receives a selection of Petzval images. Backers who paid enough for a lens also receive a cleaning cloth, a cotton bag for the lens and other items, a leather case for the Petzval lens, a lens cap, and 3 additional aperture plates for experimenting.
3379 backers supported this project. 11 of them contributed over $1,500 and will enjoy a trip to Vienna.
The Petzval lenses are expected to be delivered between late 2013 and early 2014.
