The SPUR Ultra R 800 is a black and white film. It is offered by the German company SPUR Photochemie / Dr. Heidrich + Schain GbR.
It is a silver halide film with A. H. U. antihalation layer. The film is orthopanchromatically sensitized. The RMS value is given as 1.0, so it is characterized by low graininess. Another special feature is the high resolution of 800 LP/mm.
Exposure is possible between ISO 6 and ISO 50, and especially at ISO 6, the use of a tripod is advisable.
Developing the film
The Ultra R 800 must be developed in a developer for black and white films. Film development can be done by a lab, but is also possible at home with the proper photographic chemistry. SPUR Nanotech UR developer is recommended.
Formats
The Ultra R 800 is offered for 35mm cameras only. The number of frames is specified as 36. There is currently no version of the document film for medium format cameras.
