The ORWO NP 15 is a black and white film. The film was manufactured in the GDR by VEB Filmfabrik Wolfen. Like the state, the NP 15 no longer exists.
The ISO 25 film has a panchromatic sensitization. It is developed in a normal black and white developer, like Rodinal (ORWO R09) or A49 (ORWO A49).
The ORWO NP 15 was made up for 35mm, roll film and large format cameras. The 35mm film was available by the meter, in cartridges for the Rapid System/SL (the Eastern alternative to the Agfa Rapid System) and normal 35mm cameras (135-36). The roll film was sold in 127, 120, 220 and 620 formats.
