The Lomography Lady Grey B&W 400 120 is a black and white film. The film is sold in packs of 3 rolls each. How many images fit on a roll depends on the camera. If the camera exposes an area of 6x6 cm, a common format, twelve images go on one roll of Lady Grey.

Lady Grey is a panchromatic black and white film.

Development

It cannot be developed in C-41 because it is not a chromogenic black-and-white film. It must be developed in a black and white developer. Most large laboratories can also develop black and white film, but in most cases you get better results developing at home. In any case, you have full control over the development there.

There is a wide range of black and white developers, which include Rodinal, D-76, XTOL, ID-11 and Ilfosol 3. The choice of developer can significantly affect the final result of the photos. If the manufacturer does not specify the combination of a particular developer and film, it may be beneficial to experiment with different mixing ratios and development times on test film strips taken under the same conditions before developing the actual film.

The developed film strips contain the images captured during the shoot. The next step is usually to make prints or digitize the images. Many developing labs offer the ability to make prints of the photos.

To further process the photos digitally, you can use a scanner to digitize the film strips. A number of scanners can be used to digitize negatives, which include document scanners. Once the film strips are digitized, the images can be further processed digitally or shared on social media platforms.

Country of production

The country of manufacture, currently (May 2012), on the packaging is China ("Made in China"). The name of the film comes from the tea "Lady Grey". This is a variant of Earl Grey with the addition of lemon peel and lemon flavors.

Formats

The Lady Grey 400 120 is also available as 35mm film. Together with the CN 800 120 and the X-Pro Slide 200 120, it is sold in the Lomography Mixed Film Pack 120.
