The Kodak Ektachrome 100 Professional (EPN) is a slide film. It can be used to take colored slides in daylight. It has a sensitivity of ISO 100 and is processed in the E6 development process.
The slide film was advertised as a professional film for professional photographers with natural colors and high color fidelity.
In the meantime, Kodak has discontinued the EPN. It could be bought for 35mm, medium format (120, 220) and large format cameras (4x5", 8x10").
It should not be confused with Kodak Ektachrome 100 Plus Professional (EPP). There is not really an alternative to the film.
