The Fujifilm Instax Square Black is an instant film. It is a variant of the Fujifilm Instax Square Film. Fujifilm in Japan is responsible for the production.
The film is an instant film for the Instax Square format. The dimensions of one image are 8.6 by 7.2 cm. 6.2 x 6.2 cm is what the captured image takes up. With the square image, this format reminds of the Instax Square format. The remaining area is the frame typical of instant images. In this edition, the frame is not white but, as the name suggests, black.
After the color image is captured, the camera ejects the image, spreading the development chemistry over the image and the development process begins. Within 90 seconds the picture is developed. This process is not accelerated by shaking.
Film format
A suitable camera for this instant film is one of Fujifilm's Instax Square series. In addition to Fujifilm's Instax Square cameras, it can also be used with the Lomography Diana Instant Square and Lomo'Instant Square. It cannot be used with any of the old Polaroid cameras.
With one film cassette you can take ten instant pictures.
The pictures are protected from light outside the camera by a piece of plastic. This is ejected immediately after inserting the film into the camera. Then the instant picture fun can begin.
